It has been a long time… much too long. If you have been following this blog, or if you sent us a message these last years, you probably noticed that things went very quiet around here. We owe you an explanation, and first of all, an apology.
Over the past years, life put several things on our path, personal matters that took all our time and energy. We will keep the details to ourselves, but we hope you can be indulgent with us. The plugin kept working on many shops, some of you kept writing to us, and honestly, every one of those messages reminded us that this little tool was still useful to people. Thank you for your patience. Really.
We’re back, for real
Today, we are happy to tell you that Bulk Attributes for WooCommerce® is back in active development. Not a quick patch and then silence again: we have set up a proper plan, we work on it every week, and we intend to keep you informed here on the blog, regularly.
Our first priority is simple: your shops must be safe. So before adding anything new, we are reviewing the plugin from top to bottom, fixing what needs to be fixed and making sure it works well with today’s versions of WordPress and WooCommerce. If you bought the plugin, this update will be free for you, as always, and you will be able to download it from your account on this site.
A little preview of what’s coming
Once that solid base is in place, we want to take the plugin much further. Here is what is on our list, roughly in this order:
- A faster engine, able to handle thousands of attribute terms and products without timing out, thanks to batch processing.
- A brand new interface, clearer and easier to use, right inside your WordPress admin.
- Hierarchy in your shop filters, so your customers can browse parent and child terms (for example a brand, then its models).
- Assigning attributes at scale: apply terms to hundreds of products in a few clicks, and clean up unused terms safely.
- WP-CLI commands for developers and agencies who manage large catalogs.
- And, along the way, a fresh new website, with better documentation and tutorials.
And we keep a few surprises on the way… we will tell you more when the time comes!
We prefer not to give dates yet: we would rather deliver step by step, and do it well, than promise too much again. What we can promise is that you will hear from us here, at each step.

You use the plugin every day, you know better than anyone what is missing. Is there a feature you dream of? Something that annoys you? Don’t hesitate to tell us from the support page, every message is read.
